At Cure Recruitment, we're not your typical recruitment agency. We were founded by two senior internal recruiters who have spent close to three decades in the IT industry covering ANZ, APAC, and Global hiring, so we understand the ins and outs of the tech world. From our own experiences in boutique agencies to managing Talent Acquisition for global SaaS businesses like Nintex and Aconex, and even leading Tech and Sales Talent Acquisition for industry giants like Oracle and Microsoft, we've seen it all.


But here's the thing – we know that what truly matters isn't just finding great candidates, it's about building honest relationships and grasping the intricacies of internal processes. We've walked the walk as part of internal TA / HR teams, and we get it.


Over the years, we've had the privilege of assembling numerous teams, many from scratch. We've helped more than 1,500 individuals discover their perfect roles. Our focus has always been on the tech industry, so if you're a software or DevOps engineer, a product manager, a UXer, or even a technical sales specialist, you're in the right place. Meet the team

Conor Lydon

Director / Co-Founder

Conor has a Masters in Human Resource Management and been working in Recruitment and HR for since 2010. While he kicked off his career in HR back in Ireland, he pivoted to Technical Recruitment when he moved to Melbourne and never looked back. For him, the mix of research; simplifying processes and providing great customer service kept him enthusiastic about the field. He is passionate about a ‘win-win’ scenario where both the client and candidate are happy throughout the process and with the end outcome. 

While not working, he is running after his two children with his wife and keeping himself busy in the garden trying to somehow resurrect his plants, while cooling down with a beer.

Andy Beale

Director / Co-Founder

A former competitive youth sailor, Andy originally studied to be a software engineer back in the UK and gained his BSc in Computer Science in 2008. Though he ticked two important boxes with both a love of tech and coffee, he soon realised that his strengths lay in talking with engineers about their own work more so than actually building solutions himself. A career in technical recruitment quickly followed, initially focusing only on hiring engineers. Since the move to recruitment, he’s taken in stints with boutique agencies, global SaaS businesses, and big tech, becoming adept at hiring across all role types within a business, and has built many a team from the ground up. When he’s not working, Andy is usually found wandering around the streets of Melbourne with his wife, Amanda, looking for new restaurants or bars to experience, in particular to try out new red wines, scotch or Japanese whiskeys.
